This anthology has a wonderfully representative selection of Zen texts, including From the complete koans of The Gateless Gate (a 13th–century collection of spiritual puzzles) to a generous number of haiku, the Ten Ox Herding Pictures as well as some contemporary authors. Commentary is provided by Miriam Levering. It is interspersed with lovely nature photographs and Japanese calligraphy. 160 pages 6.8 x 6.7 x 1 inches.
